My Opinion, Mobility Electronics, Inc. or Think Outside are bad companies…

It is my opinion, Mobility Electronics, Inc. or Think Outside (they sell products under multiple names) has terrible customer support and is terrible to their retail partner’s.

By making the customer return the broken unit to the retailer and buying the “properly designed” unit from Mobility Electronics, Inc. or Think Outside (they sell products under multiple names) causes extra time and expense to the retailer who is trying to be a good partner with Mobility Electronics, Inc. This reinforces that the retailer is a terrible business to the customer by selling goods that break easily. The only way to get properly designed products is to buy directly from Mobility Electronics, Inc.

Mobility Electronics, Inc. has terrible customer support with little empathy for their customer, their customer’s time and their customer’s expense.

By making the customer return the broken unit to the retailer and buying the “properly designed” unit from Mobility Electronics, Inc. or Think Outside (they sell products under multiple names) causes extra time and extra expense to the customer who is trying to be a good customer. Mobility Electronics, Inc. has no empathy for what they put their customers through.

The Sales Manager at Mobility Electronics said to me, “There is no other company that takes direct returns from the customer. Belkin makes their customers return their products direct to the retailer”.

Well, Mr. Sales Manager if you want your company to be a Belkin then continue the way you are. If you want to be a great company then you might want to reconsider your return process and become responsible for the products you put out. Your comment to me that “no other companies accepts direct returns” is just plain wrong. I can’t count the times I’ve bought a product and upon opening it, the very first thing you see is: “Don’t Return This To The Retailer Where You Bought It” or some similarly worded caution.

Upon reading this, I hope you consider NOT BUYING from these companies as they are one, selling under multiple names: Mobility Electronics, Inc, Think Outside. It is my opinion they are not worth your time or money.

Sand Storm Near Mesa, AZ

You may not know this but, I’m living at a RV Park in Mesa, AZ. Image Of Sand Storm Near Mesa, AZIt’s called Arizona Maverik. My first “permanent ” RV Park. I’ll be leaving in the next month to 6 weeks or so, destination unknown. I know it’ll be north of here. Way north of here. The 110 to 120 degree days here aren’t really for me.

I’ll try to photograph what I can here before leaving. Anyway…

Tonight, we were having a “Residents Appreciation Picnic”. Just before the picnic was to start we could see a dust storm coming from the east. Just as sudden as we could see the dust storm headed our way, it turned and headed north before getting to us. The dust just hung in the air all night.

As the sun was setting, it gave us quite a show. Heavy clouds of an impending rain storm brought out some very dynamic images and some very pretty colors. This is one of those images.

Is It the start of “spring” or is it just me?

Bird in a Tree I’ve been here since the beginning of December of ‘06. Doesn’t that just sound like something your grandmother or grandfather would have said? Why, back in ‘06 we went to school in snow up to our waists, 6 miles away… We had no buses! But, ‘ol Porky Pine Fred had a 24″ Schwinn bicycle that he used to ride… He wasn’t quiet right, ya’ know. Why today, we would say that he was a couple of French fries short of a Happy Meal!

Anyway, here in Mesa, AZ… We Got No Snow!
But the birds are out… At the Maverik RV Park, we have a small bird sanctuary. Doves, Woodpeckers, Quail, Wren’s etc. The one I’m waiting for is the Humming Bird. Other places I’ve seen some mundane Hummingbirds. Here, they’re just some really cool colors… I’ve been patient now for about 20 hours. and the ones I have seen are always blocked by the feeders!

For now, this picture will have to do!

Have you ever needed a part…

I need a “Escape Handle” for my RV. It’s about 10″ long. one end of the handle is held by screws to the window (the window is hinged at the top) and the plastic bushing is held by screws to the inside window frame. When closed, the handle is inboard and pivots to the right.

When you want to open the window for ventilation, the handle is swung from the right to be 90 degrees from rest, push the handle out so, the bottom of the window swings out for air to come in.

If you know how to get one of these replacement “escape handles” with hardware, please contact me, Ron Hardesty, 360-695-6166 PLEASE!

Arizona in the winter…

Arizona in the winter…
I just can’t believe the weather here! Its winter and we are having 70 degree days, 40 degree nights. I always thought that areas like Arizona, didn’t get any water 9 months of the year. It’s kinda just the opposite. Arizona seems to avg. some rain, each month.

I’m so grateful for the RV park I’m living in. No, they aren’t paying for this and they didn’t know I wanted to critic RV parks. I pay a monthly rental fee plus electricity. They provide a space, mailbox, WiFi, local telephone is available, BBQ area, a laundry area ($.75 wash, $.50 dry mostly new equipment) AND they keep the park (to use an old phrase) spic and span! I see the managers constantly walking, cleaning, changing the park for the benefit of the renters, cleaning, setting up events for the renters, cleaning, did I mention cleaning? And they allow pets!

Somewhere, about 40 spaces and over half the spaces have dogs. But, you wouldn’t know it!

The spaces have a lite/white pea gravel to them a cement “pad” to put your awning out on.
